I am a retired online school teacher. I love family history. From 2007-2020, I spent much of my time providing part-time support for the world's largest free family history site https://familysearch.org This is very rewarding. I have helped others with the Family Tree and related FamilySearch products.
In 2010-2018 I served in the Edmonton_Alberta_Riverbend_Family_History_Centre..I have a FHC blog at Bill's Family History Center Blog Since 2020 I have been a family history consultant for Edmonton Alberta North Stake. Harold Stangeland (in photo with wife and daughter)

I have known Harold Stangeland for several years, but he became a member of my family when my son married his daughter. Yesterday he died at the young age of 60 as the result of a head injury from a fall. An avid golfer, Harold was in excellent health. His quiet but warm and friendly personality lighted-up any space he was in. He spent much of his time serving others in the belief that when you are in the service of others you are also serving God. I am sure he will still find opportunities to serve.

Farewell my friend, enjoy a happy eternity!
